Town of New Windsor Town Park

This park is located at the corner of Main Street (Route 31) and Green Valley Road (Route 75). It’s not a large park, but there’s a pavilion and park benches for public use.

 

Sulphur Springs Park

This park is located at 116-118 Water Street, behind the fire company. There’s a basketball court, 2 tennis courts, and a pavilion with picnic tables.

 

Lions Club Park

This park is located at 312 Maple Street and is owned by the Lions Club. You’ll find playground equipment, a pavilion and park benches. The Lions Club also has ball diamonds, which are located between the (now closed) middle school and fire department’s carnival grounds. Do you enjoy community service? Consider joining!

 

Atlee Ridge Community Playground

Here you’ll find playground equipment and swings on Overleigh Way in the Atlee Ridge neighborhood. Watch the children play from a park bench.

 

Skate Park

If skate boarding is something you or your children / grandchildren enjoy, there’s no need to travel far! There are 2 ramps, rails and a picnic table, too.

 

5th Element Disc Golf Course

Adjacent to the skate park is this disc golf course.

 

New Windsor Museum

Located at 207 Main Street, this is the place to learn about the town’s heritage.

 

Seasons at Magnolia Manor

This bed and breakfast is located on 3 acres of countryside, at 111 S. Springdale Avenue. This is also a popular locale for quaint, outdoor weddings.

 

New Windsor Volunteer Fire Company Events

The local fire department sponsors a variety of events for the community. Examples include: sportsman’s drawing, food drive-throughs (fried chicken, pit beef, pit turkey, pit ham), summer carnival, money giveaways, bingo and food trucks. It’s also a favorite place to hold children’s birthday parties.
