Carnivals in MD are a favorite summer past time for many people, both young and old. A variety of volunteer fire companies hold carnivals in Carroll County, MD every summer. Carnivals are community traditions that continue to be important. These are some of the largest fundraisers held each year. The fire companies would not be able to function without their fundraising activities and community support. These events not only help preserve a quality of life for the communities, but also offer support to the volunteers and companies that provide Carroll County’s safety and security. The monies made from the rides, games, food and raffles provide much needed financial support for the local fire departments. They have many expenses each year, including: maintaining and purchasing the various pieces of equipment, fuel for the equipment, supplies, the fire station and more. Support your local fire departments by attending one or more of these annual events! Each fire station reserves the right to make change to their itineraries. Please contact each individual fire station for any possible changes.

New Windsor Carnival

Lunch will be served each day (except Saturday) from 11 am – 1 pm. Dinner / food stands open at 5:00 pm nightly.

Ride all night wrist bands will be available for purchase from Snyder’s Attractions. Rides open at 6:00 pm nightly.

Discounted wristband tickets for the rides are being sold in advance for $20 each ($15 savings. They will be available the nights of the carnival for $35). They can be used Monday, Tuesday and Thursday only. Purchase tickets any Tuesday night from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the social hall OR purchase tickets online by May 15th.

Manchester Fire Company Carnival

(Station 4)

When: Monday, June 30 – Saturday, July 5, 2025

Where: York Street Carnival Grounds, Manchester MD 21102

2025 is the 138th anniversary of the annual Manchester Carnival. The carnival is open each night from 6:00 – 11:00 pm. Ride all night wrist bands will be available for $25 each night.

Enjoy fresh platters served every night in the air-conditioned activities’ building, as well as crab cakes, bar-b-que, soups, chicken filets, fish filets, and pies. The kitchen is open from 5 – 8 pm each night. Other foods served at the various food stands include the infamous pit beef, french fries, pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, funnel cakes and ice cream.

And don’t forget the nightly live entertainment on the stage! Bring your lawn chair, or stand nearby to hear the featured music each night.
